Can you believe that I bought these red beads with the idea to make something for Christmas… Well, that did not work out as planned. So I guess starting this beading project now is a good idea, because then it actually might be finished for next xmas. 😛
It is of course, going to be a bib. And I have more of these boxes that I bought that I have not had time to use yet, so I hope to make one now and then.
Meanwhile, the three bracelets I made last week have been added to the shop, here are some photos of them.
I don’t think the red beaded necklace will be ready next week, but there is always the chance that I make something else during the week… 😜
See you later!
So I had the idea to make more layered cuff bracelets, but with less layers. So I made three stranded memory wire cuff bracelets. These are the first three, and I hope to make a few more in the future. I just have to buy more beads. So stay tuned!
I still have to take photos of them individually to be able to list them in my shop, but the bracelets already available in my shop can be found here and you can also find many bracelets in my etsy shop.
I have been doing a lot of paper work lately. Trying to close the books for last year. But I did take the time to make another bracelet.
This time the multi stranded cuff bracelet is made with green aventurine stones and glass beads. I decided to combine the green with grey and black beads because of the way the stones vary in color.
I really like how this one turned out. If you are curious about others in the same style you can find more bracelets in my shop and also more bracelets on Etsy.
The bracelet is already available in the shop!
New purple bracelets
I started to make a few new items, and suddenly I realised, that two of them are sort of purple bracelets. So I thought it was perfect to make my first blog post about new items from 2019 a themed one.
So here they are my (sort of) purple bracelets, one with small seed beads and one cuff bracelet, but both in layers.
The new bracelets are already in my shop! And if you like layered bracelets, don’t miss out on looking in the section for layered bracelets in my etsy shop!
Winter inspired maybe?
I don’t know if it was that first snow we had, or just a random coincidence, but all new jewelry I made recently turned out white and blue. It suits winter though. 🙂
Here they are:
I hope to have them up in the shop soon! Also, don’t forget to stop by my etsy shop for more jewelry.
I keep coming back to it – beading. This time I made two necklaces and one bracelet. All with those small seed beads and all in layers.
Take a look ⬇️
Ivory white bib necklace.
Sparkly choker necklace.
Black bead bracelet.
I hope to have them up in my shop soon, and you can always find more jewellery in my Etsy shop!
More statement bracelets
So here they are, the bracelets are ready for my shop!
After I made my first statement bracelets I knew immediately that I would want to make more, it is so fun figuring out which stones could go with what beads. For these new ones, I actually did buy a lot of new beads, because I wanted the hues to be just right.
But before I bought the materials for these, I had also started making a braided leather bracelet out of cords I already had at home. In my Etsy shop I already have a black wrap bracelet and I thought it needs a friend. 😜
So I made this one, and to get the pattern just right I braided it with four cords. Now I am thinking I need them in more colours.
So I might have to go shopping again… 🙂
Work in progress
So these are bracelets in the making. As you might guess the one in the middle is a real work in progress, so far just loose wires.
I have one more planned, with white freshwater pearls. I do hope I get to make that one and finish these soon. My situation at my day job has changed so that my work days are irregular. This makes planning my time more difficult.
Meanwhile you can see other bracelets in my shop and here in my Etsy shop.
Hope to be back soon and show you the finished bracelets! 🙂
New statement bracelets
I had the idea to make statement bracelets by layering memory wire into a sort of cuff bracelet. And once I got going I almost couldn’t stop. This is how my first ones turned out.
Still stuck on layers as you can see! 🙂
These bracelets will be in my shop soon!
For the first project this year, I did one which was long overdue. I had bought new colour beads a long time ago to make more chain bracelets, but just had not gotten around to it.
I thought it was a perfect start of the new year, to get them done and to change my mindset. I need to stop thinking ‘I will do that later’.
